Kaka’ako Street Art March 2019

Kaka’ako is a community of Honolulu best known for the dozens of large mural art that can be found on many of its commercial buildings. Kaka’ako is a mixed zone community located northwest of Waikiki and south of the downtown and Chinatown area.

Much of the street art can easily be found on Cooke Street and Pohukaina Street; Mother Waldron Park is another spot, which is bordered by Cooke Street, Pohukaina Street, and Halekawila Street; Coral Street has more mural art. Also check out Auahi Street and Lana Lane. The street art in this blog post were captured in March of 2019. The murals you see below will be replaced by new ones in the future.
